The Hong Kong Women's Choir continues to be an organization that embraces all nationalities, all ages, all body types as long as they be female in gender!
Currently our members are from Hong Kong, Australia, Canada, China, France, Iceland, India, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, Switzerland, the UK, and the United States. In the past, we have also had members from Bahamas, Denmark, Germany, Korea, Lebanon, Mauritius, Russia, Sweden, Taiwan and Thailand.

MUSIC DIRECTOR

Genevieve Hilton is the music Director for our a capella group, the Grace Notes.
She has been involved in choral music from an early age, first serving as a cantor at St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish in Westtown, PA and at St. Paul's Church in Cambridge, MA. She was a founding member of the Cambridge Chamber Singers and Aestas Musica, and sang with the Harvard Radcliffe Collegium Musicum. She co-founded and directed the Hanoi International Choir, served as guest conductor of the Hong Kong Cecilian Singers, and led the Hong Kong Bach Choir Chamber Ensemble for several years.

Ronald Lam is the music director of the Nova, our accompanied choir. He is a graduate of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. He has been engaged in a number of performances and has appeared in many opera productions. He has served as Assistant Director in the HK Arts Festival, as singing teacher in the HK Youth Arts Festival, and as APA Choirmaster and singing coach in the APA Musical Theatre Department. For the last 10 years, Ronald has conducted the Hong Kong Children's Choir, Sai Kung Children's Choir, the YWCA Choir and Children's Choir. He is also the founding Music Director of CITY KEYS.
Ronald joined the Hong Kong Women's Choir in 2001, succeeding previous music directors Nancy Madrid and Roberta Yule Owen.

ACCOMPANIST

Tricia Krieger is Nova's reserve accompanist. She studied music in Sussex, England. She began her career teaching music in London and became Head of Music in a large comprehensive school in Birmingham. Since being in Hong Kong for more than 8 years , she has taught at Kellet School and taught privately , piano and clarinet. Now retired, sheloves to sing and has been a member of many Choral Groups in Hong Kong, including the Hong Kong Oratorio Society and as 1st Alto with our very own Grace Notes.

ACCOMPANIST

Mrs Woo joined the Nova choir in the spring of 2009 as accompanist. A graduate from Han Yang University, Korea, majoring in piano, she has accompanied the "Gloria Orchestra", and the Baptist Women's Choir in Korea and toured the United States with them. Currently, she is accompanist for the Korean Exodus Mission Church and Korean Women's Choir, and a volunteer accompanist pianist for concerts at International Christian School of Hong Kong.
